Colors Choose your favourite from the palette of the season. All Jouten clothing, accessory and home textile products are carefully piece dyed with OEKO-TEX certified fabric dyes, softened with sensitive softener and gently tumbled for ultimate comfort. Materials The main material used in Jouten terry products are repurposed 100% cotton hotel towels circulated by Comforta. Repurposed 50% cotton – 50% polyester hotel beddings are used in the details such as logos and pocket linings. Terry products are sewn with thick 100% polyester thread for maximized durability.
Production The entire production of Jouten terry items from acquiring the repurposed hotel textiles to dyeing and sewing the garments and preparing the orders for shipping takes place within the Helsinki region in Finland.
Sizing Model in the photo is 183 cm wearing size Medium. Unisex sizing in our terry clothing runs relaxed and comfortably oversized, as Joutens fit best nice and spacious. Consider choosing the size you would normally go for, as repurposed 100% cotton towels are non-stretch material. Terry care Careful sorting, gentle softening and thorough fluffing is what your terry item seeks from you for long-lived loyalty. Wash your Joutens separately for the first time and make sure to only wash them with similar colors in the future. Adding a splash of natural fabric softener with every wash ensures your terry item stays nice and soft wash after wash. Tumble dry at low temperature if you have access to a tumbler or at least shake your Jouten well after wash to fluff up the fibers before flat drying.
Laundry Wash with similar colors, machine wash at max 40°C with gentle cycle, do not bleach, tumble dry at max one dot or dry flat, iron inside out at max two dots, do not dry clean

Materials
The main material used in Jouten terry products are upcycled 100% cotton hotel towels circulated by our material partner Comforta. Hotel towels that no longer qualify for the hotel standards due to wear and tear are circulated from Comforta to Jouten for creative upcycling initiating a second life to these otherwise high-quality textiles.
